Hollywood studios and the union representing tens of hundreds of Hollywood crew members reached a tentative new deal Saturday evening, narrowly avoiding a piece stoppage that might have floor most tv and movie manufacturing to a halt simply because it had lastly returned to pre-pandemic ranges.
